Have Republicans been lying about how popular their opinion is all along?

They're just too stupid to realize that they are a doomed party. They only appeal to whites, a group that with each election cycle shrinks closer to minority status themselves. There will be a time very soon when they will no longer be a viable national party and only hold pockets of strength in places like Wyoming and Alabama.
