How to avoid buddy punching withoiut biometric solutions or webcam?

Anyone can think of creative ways to avoid "buddy punching" - the act of an employee clocking in for someone else- without resorting to biometric solutions (i.e. fingprint reader) or webcam (taking a picture while clocking in)?
