The problem is that the US doesn't always recognize credentials and degrees from other countries and we have our own rules. To be able to practice medicine in the US, you have to practically go to medical school all over again, then get licensed. I have a friend from Morocco who was a very skilled surgeon and she is working in a clothing store because she has to go back to school here just to be able to practice. I dont know what a kavasaki is, but I would go for the kawasaki. The GSX-Rs have junk frames and are way too fragile. The CBRs are nice, but WAY too uncomfortable. Sometime within the next 10 years maybe Honda will starting putting padding into their seats instead of just covering molded plastic.

I took my teenage sister to what I thought was a therapist, but it turned out to be a NP, who prescribed my sister some anti-depressants. Now, I know that NP go to school for an additional 2 years, and get their masters so that they can prescibe meds. However, with all the recent teen deaths due to mis-diagnosis and treatment w/ anti-depressants, shouldn't my sister have seen a psychiatrist (someone who actually went to med school/did residency). How sick is it that I want to make myself feel bad..just so I can cut?

I'm a self harmer, I've been cutting and burning and leaving bruises on my body (and lots of other things) for over a year. For the past two days I've been feeling happier than normal, but it scares me. I almost want to make myself feel bad just so I can cut. When I cut, the feeling I get is indescribable. Flute definitely does have a huge range and it often sounds better than a clarinet. If you want to learn fast play clarinet, i was able to learn half the notes off of my friends in an hour. If you pick flute then it will take more patience and practice. It's worth it though. Oh yeah flutes don't squeak or use reeds, so that's a plus. Hope this helps

most reputable baseball companies make a quality glove as long as you buy one of their upper end ones. That means most likely $100+, but not necessarily the $250 ones. As far as third base, a smaller outfielder's glove would work decently, if you can find a 12" one I'd say that's about right, give or take a half inch. You don't want too small or large of a glove at third, but somewhere in between. I've had rawlings and mizunos and liked them both, but my favorite glove was a mizuno with a modified basket weave, 12.25". I played mostly center and left throughout high school and club ball in college, but it would work fine for 3rd as well, kinda large for SS or 2nd but could make it work if necessary. But if you can try some on and see which one you like (remembering break-in will take a good while with a quality glove), and it's a fairly decent one from any of the companies you mentioned (in addition nike, demarini, others) it's hard to go wrong, it'll probably last you till you give up baseball or go pro...

I'm torn between two worlds and I try see the best in my fiance (who is a rehabilitated drug user). But as time goes by I am seeing this "bright fantastic world" that I am so desperately trying to achieve go up in flames. We have been dating for a year and 4 months and we have a 6 month old baby. The home life is wonderful, he is a fantastic gentleman and loves his daughter, but I have a job and he doesn't. This has been an issue from the time we found out that we were going to have a baby. He worked at a bar as a bartender bringing drips and drabs while my salary paid for everything. My dad landed up giving him a job just before the baby was born (6 months ago) which he messed up but being accused of stealing and was fired. He still to this day says he never, but now I am beginning to doubt it. Two weeks later he got another job, which was heaven sent. Then two weeks into getting a good job he had a drinking binge night took drugs and disappeared for 17 hours leaving me alone at home with no phone or money to find him. Obviously I kicked him out took my car back (which he used for work etc) got fired from his job and begged me to take him back saying that he learnt from his mistake and that the drugs gave him a scare because it affected him so badly. I believed all this and now I am sitting knowing that I messed up by taking this "loser" back. It's been a month that he's been sitting at home while I send his CV out and he goes for the interviews. We are struggling and I know that my stress levels are sky rocketing and this will in the end affect my baby. I am i supposed to stand by the father of my baby while he goes through a "Job Slum" or he being a money leech while i work and sell my belongings to make ends meet? Please help?

7 week old barley sleeping during the day, is this normal?

My son at that age was sleeping quite a bit, but we have had a constant struggle with putting him down to sleep because the minute he isnt feeling mom or dads touch he wakes up. So he is very spoiled so we hold him until he falls asleep and we let him get into a deep deep sleep and carefully put him to bed and we keep our hand on him if he starts to wake up, its a slow process but its working. Maybe you should try holding him until he gets into a deep sleep and slowly transition him into his bed, my son also sleeps better in his car seat so we are trying to transition him from that to his bed. I also think as long as he is eating well and is alert then he is probably ok, just try to help him stay asleep by getting him a soothing toy that plays music or sing to him. Good luck :)

Well, I tried the motion sickness wristband when i went on a trip. If im in a car too long, like a van or bus i get motion and car sickness and the wristband worked, i just kept thinking the whole ride, "how does a wristband prevent this?"" lol. My sister also used them when she was pregnant and saved her alot of morning sicknesses. So I would go with the wristband... it's more convenient.

Ok so I know there are ISP limits, obviously mine is 54.0 mbps. But, my internet was always saying low or very low connection, so I bought a wireless-G repeater. Now, my signal strength is excellent and downloading at 54.0 mbps. The problem is, now my internet is slower! everyone in the house has slower internet now; downloads on steam download at 20-30kbps. My dog has got a cut on the pad on his front leg, this happened at the sand dunes on Sunday. Yesterday I noticed little spots under the skin on both of his front legs they seem quite itchy and he is licking them alot, he has about 3 on each front leg, Yesterday they felt just like blisters but today they have gone more scabbed. They look like some sort of bite or maybe infection from the front cut pad. Is there anything that I can be doing to help them or does he have to visit the vet. family member was sent off out of state because of a riot which he was not involved in, wrong place at wrong time. he filed an appeal and finally won it. he asked them to view the camera so it could prove his innocense and his appeal came back that the cameras where not working at the time of the riot. he's been out of state for almost a year which we have not seen him since. Once he won his appeal they should of moved him back to TX but nothing has been done. He has exactly one yr. from today to be released. His points are where they should be for good behavior and everything else. His clean record and back ground history really helped him in his trial but not that he's in this prison the system really stinks. I know most of the inmates r repeaters and have a bad history but this is his first offense and his back ground history was good. need help on what can be done for him out here.

HSG couldn't be performed. Has anyone else had this problem?

I was scheduled in to receive an HSG this morning but the doctor was not able to feed the cathader up through my cervix and into my uterus because of the position of my cervix. The test was never completed. He finally gave up after 15 minutes of torturing me and I'm still in a lot of pain. I'm hoping there is no permanent damage from all his battering in there. Try to hard and you'll push him away. Move on, but don't forget him. Leave him an opening if he changes his mind, but you can't do it for him. Sorry... Love lost is a lesson learned.

Well the good thing about crayfish is they ARE indeed really cool. Unfortunately, some of them do die easily, and you have to get specific foods for them. They are also skilled escape artists-I actually had a ten gallon tank with a cover and I watched one launch itself into the latched part of the lid and escape. Its amazing, but inconvenient for when you aren't hom because they die if they escape. Also, they generally are not very friendly and can even pinch-which hurts a LOT. I personally would suggest another beta, which, contrary to popular belief, CAN be housed with other fish such as goldfish. They must be non territorial fish as goldifsh are. I kept one for six and a half years in a tank filled with goldfish, silver dollar fish, zebra tetras, neon tetras, and guppies with no issue. Crayfish tend to be very territorial and will chase fish, I've even seen one kill a rather large goldfish. Whichever you choose, enjoy! Hope this helps :)

yes. all you have to do is go to the mixer in fl studio. go to where you see the arrows numbered 1-8 inbetween the in and out. click on one of the arrows(a list should come up) then click on more. then press refresh. it should say "found 1 new plugin" or something like that. the autotube should be in red. the check autotune and close that window. now autotune should be on the list with all the other plugins.

It could be anxiety, or it could be something far more serious (like Bipolar disorder) . Instead of worrying whats wrong with you (Something you cant fix til Summer), try treating the symptoms. If you're feeling mad or sad or anxious, try writting about it. What helps me when I feel that way is to write poetry or play a musical instrument. Try taking up guitar (Its hard, but it'll definately take your mind off everything else).

Ok well I just moved from my homestate to a state where I went to college for a couple semesters about a year and a half ago. I was waiting for a traffic light to change when a drunk driver plowed into my rear bumper, basically destroying both cars . I emerged without damage and provided first aid to the bleeding drunk. Someone must have called 911 because an ambulance arrived along with the police; I politely told the EMT's that I did not want any evaluation, treatment or transport. The economy has left me without health insurance despite a good job; I don't want to incur and medical expenses that I don't feel that I absolutely need (I understand that in an ideal world that everyone involved in a MVA would get checked out for hidden injuries, but it's my gamble to skip it). The EMT kept getting in my face and she was basically trying to force me into the ambulance despite my refusal. I told her that I was alert and oriented, a competent adult and that I'm refusing any and all evaluation, treatment or transport. She told me that I didn't have any choice and told me that if I didn't get in the ambulance that she would have the police officer convince me, all the while trying to push me into the ambulance. At wit's end, I called the cop over and asked her to explain to the EMT my right to refuse treatment..at which point I had 2 women trying to push me into the ambulance. Finally, the cop agreed that in this state (PA), a competent adult has a right to refuse treatment, but that I was being stupid (my choice) and that someone covered in blood should definately go to the hospital. Then one of the medics told the cop: "it's not his blood; he was treating the drunk who hit him from behind and probably prevented the guy from bleeding out". Big deal, I said, just please let me alone, I have a ight to refuse and didn't break any laws. Then the weird part: the cop agrees that I have a right to refuse, compliments me on isting the other driver, then she tells me that I'm going to the hospital regardless and called me a hero (not)...the other driver died, so my help didn't matter....despite my protests, they transported me anyway. En route to the hospital, I called the local police to meet me at the emergency room because I was being held against my will. Upon arrial at the hospital, the cops that I called got into an argument with the EMT's..I asked the police to either arrest me or to make the EMT's let me go. Finally, the EMT's told me that they would let me go if I signed a refusal of treatment and transport form which I declined to sign; I told them that you have already treated and transported me against my will so why should I sign a refusal of the same services? I told them that I'm not paying for anything; I didn't call them nor did I consent to anything. The EMT's got quite angry, but the cops at the ER affirmed my right to refuse and that I didn't have to sign anything, so everyone finally went to neutral corners. This was last night; it was an abuse of authority. Is there any way that I have to pay for any of this?

Is it ok for a 14.5 year old to participate in a half or full marathon jog?

Well I plan on running the Seattle Amica Half or Full Marathon in November 2010 if my physician is ok with it. I'm going to be training all the way up to the marathon and already have a marathon training program selected. I wouldn't be attempting a speed run but would be jogging it. I know I'm motivated enough to do this. I'm not obese, quite fit (can run 3 miles in 22 min, 5.02 first mile). I have been running seriously for about six months. My parents are both physicians and my mom said she would probably be ok with a half marathon and would consult colleagues but didn't have any idea about a full marathon, and we would have to go to a pediatrician. I don't plan on going overtly fast either. I know I'd stop if I was hurt etc... didn't feel right
