HSG couldn't be performed. Has anyone else had this problem?

I was scheduled in to receive an HSG this morning but the doctor was not able to feed the cathader up through my cervix and into my uterus because of the position of my cervix. The test was never completed. He finally gave up after 15 minutes of torturing me and I'm still in a lot of pain. I'm hoping there is no permanent damage from all his battering in there. Has anyone else had this problem with an HSG?
