i would cook what you usually cook. he is probably looking forward to having something different. i am american but would love to come to your house for an asian meal. if you still feel like you want to make american then make fettucini alfredo or spaghetti or lasagna with a nice green salad and garlic bread. bake a cake or brownies for dessert. hope this helps
