What race was the ancient Egyptians really?

I read in the Bible the Son of Ham had four sons, Cush which brought the Kingdom of Kush (Black Africans) in what is now northern Sudan. Mizraim according to Genesis 10 was the younger brother of Cush and elder brother of Phut and Canaan, whose families together made up the Hamite branch of Noah's descendants..The canaanites, people who mostly occupied modern-day Israel, were descendants of Canaan.. Phut was the founder of Libya, and called the inhabitants Phutites. So out of Cush, Phut, Canaan and Mizraim came the Ethiopians, Egyptians and Somali and other African people right?? So how are the Egyptians Caucasoid? I went to Egypt to learn and when i saw the pictures, they look more African then white? Is white people stealing history again through TV and Movies and not displaying true Africa? What do you guys think? I'm starting not to trust my own people..
