Am I completely effed?

Ok well I just moved from my homestate to a state where I went to college for a couple semesters about a year and a half ago. I needed a change and knew a lot of people here, so I found a place to rent and packed my crap and moved. I've been here for 3 and a half months and still have not found any work. I am down to $1000 in savings and am starting to panic. I have a fantastic life here except for the money situation. I am very frugal and buy nothing I don't need. There are places such as retail sales hiring, but I am an animal person and get anxiety attacks when dealing with just customer service. I am on an anti anxiety medication but of course it doesn't take all the anxiety away. I'm honestly just sharing my situation with all you folks because I'd like to hear some suggestions on how to get this job thing working for me! I am planning on going back to college for equine science in the fall, because that is when I will be able to qualify for residential tuition. Also, I've found it difficult to meet new people since I am not in school at the moment or working... so it's usually just me and my dog, or me and my boyfriend. Any suggestions as to how to meet people, not online or anything weird. I am 21 and a normal outgoing person. Sorry about the length of this :]
